North Yorkshire fire and rescue service transforms the way their critical everyday assets are managed and maintained through the use of the Pro-Cloud BlueLight platform and its advanced asset barcoding procedures.
County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service
Pro-Cloud BlueLight was developed to suit the asset and fleet management needs of the modern fire and rescue service. Right from initial discovery meetings with CDDFRS every aspect of the service and requirements were taken onboard. CDDFRS needed increased control of their assets and a full audit trail of tasks and tests completed, with safety and asset efficiency being at the forefront. Our On-boarding Team got to work, configuring the Pro-Cloud BlueLight platform to suit. The solution was initially implemented into three pilot stations and has successfully been rolled out across the remaining twelve stations throughout their service.

St John Ambulance
St John Ambulance identified the need to partner with an organisation that offered an effective asset management software solution in accordance with the MHRA, managing medical device guidance for healthcare and social service organisations.
They required an asset management solution that would keep a record of their entire inventory and a full history of each asset, including the date of purchase, the last known scanned location and where the asset had been deployed throughout its lifecycle. It was also important to them that their new supplier had a way of scheduling and recording asset maintenance and repair procedures.

“They have proven to be reactive to our requests for small changes in processes and capabilities and delivered on three specific development work streams. We have created over 415 locations and in the region of 300 vehicles. Two of our key tasks for the system, along with traditional asset management is to manage our National Medicine Supply & National Uniform Services. “CDDFRS has found that BlueLight tasks and tests are relatively easy to set up and use as their guides are comprehensive in a step by step approach. We have over 35000 assets with over 500 individual tests set at frequency ranging from 1 day to 5 years. We like the fact that you can complete and generate a task on any Android or IOS device. We can monitor results and get notifications of any task test results.
Before we had BlueLight if equipment had been swapped i.e. move location, we would spend time and resources to ensure items were placed back in its original location. But now the item can stay in its new location as history and test stay with it and will now show up in its new location.
This has been a step forward for us moving a paper-based system to a digital system. Allowing us to go paper light, freeing up time and resources which are needed for efficient and effective working.“
